In September 2022, members of the pipeline industry from around the world will gather in Calgary for the 14th International Pipeline Conference (IPC 2022). Organized by volunteers representing international energy corporations, energy and pipeline associations and regulatory agencies, the IPC has become internationally renowned as the world's premier pipeline conference. This is a not-for-profit conference and proceeds continue to support educational initiatives and research in the pipeline industry. IPC 2022 will take place from Monday, September 26 – 30, 2022. For each Technical Publication and Technical Presentation, a minimum of one author must be registered at the Full Conference Author rate.
The following paper publication requirements apply to the peer reviewed papers. They do not apply to tutorial sessions, panel sessions, or student posters.
The ASME Presenter Attendance Policy is such that if a paper is not presented at the conference by an author / co-author of the paper, it will not be published in the official archival proceedings, which are registered with the Library of Congress and abstracted and indexed.
For 2022 conferences, video and/or zoom presentations are not a substitute for in-person presentations.
In connection with ASME's efforts to expand the audience and distribute all published conference papers, a video of each paper presentation must be created and submitted by the stated deadline. The video will be made available to all conference participants for viewing leading up to the conference and will be included in the ASME Conference Video Collection.
For each Author Registration, you are entitled to present up to two papers on which you are listed as an author. Only an author / co-author of a paper is permitted to present that paper.
Each co-author listed on the submission MUST login to the website to verify their contact information.
